Wowee! Looks awesome! I sometimes make tamales but they are so time consuming I haven’t made them in over a year. Definitely gonna give these a try. Looks perfect for a weeknight meal. Might add some black beans to the pico for some extra protein. Thanks for the awesome idea

The deconstructed tamale was just what I was thinking! And yes, I've also thought of adding a pulled pork to them at some point, along with many other things. These are an excellent foil for so much! And gosh, they are good. P~

oh my gosh! I love this! I’m having visions of a deconstructed tamale right now. Where’s the pork? (clearly not meant for this recipe but that would be a great idea on how to further utilize this one.) Well done!!!
