Thanks, Addie! On both counts. I’m going to have to make these again soon…I donated most of them to a local bake sale of a group that benefits higher education for local kids. I nibbled on the end pieces and they were SO good. P~

SJ, Sure! You could use a yellow or white cake mix, too! I think yellow with almonds would be killer. Just use all the same other ingredients. P~

Since I can’t have chocolate. Is there an ALTERNATE mix? Like, could I do it with a yellow cake? I realize the add ins are changeable, but what about the cake mix itself?
