Green Tomato Salsa Verde (Fun Food Friday)

Serves: @2½ cups
  • 2 cups diced green tomato
  • 1 (4.5-ounce) can chopped green chiles
  • ¼ cup coarsely chopped red onion
  • 1 - 2 fresh jalapeƱo peppers, seeded and quartered (depending on your desired heat)
  • ½ cup fresh cilantro leaves
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • ½ teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cumin
  1. Place all of the ingredients into the bowl of a food processor and pulse until coarsely chopped.
