Mmmmm. I wanted a cool, refreshing drink just for me and found your recipe. I’ve been trimming the weeds in the garden, cleaning house and wanted to chill for a spell.

(Katey, I am going to jump in the pool a little later, after some crabs and beer. I’m in Baltimore, it is the weekend and it IS summer after all.)

I didn’t have all the ingredients so I improvised:
Juice 1 lemon
1 oz Orange liqueur
1 oz plain vodka
1 oz Limoncello
3/4 cup water
1 cup crushed ice

The liqueur was enough sweet for me.

I, too, love to cook and garden. Having beets-n-greens from the ol’ gardo tonight with the crabs! I still work a regular 9-5 but cook every night, as well. Occasionally I call in for Chinese or Vietnamese carry out when I am absolutely beat or have a craving for spring rolls or pho.

I TOTALLY understand your love for cooking. I learned to cook early in my life from my mom, but I never got that love for doing the dishes…… Good thing I have a “Dish Fairy” (husband) who helps when I need it.
