This is one of the most refreshing salads ever. I made it last year, but never published it…mainly because it’s so simple, it seemed silly to do so. Watermelon and tomatoes crisp and cold are the perfect answer for a hot holiday weekend, though. So, here it is!
I’m almost embarrassed to put this in a recipe format. It’s the easiest salad…and so vibrant in color and flavour. You might be wondering about the combination of watermelon and tomatoes, but it really works! Trust me! Add it to your next picnic table, you won’t regret it!

Never would have thought this as a good combination. Thanks for posting … I live for easy and delicious!
Try it…you’ll love it! Mr. Saucy thought it was fabulous, after looking at it askance.
He even apologized for giving it the stink-eye. 🙂

I could never have dreamed up this combination myself, but I can definitely see its appeal….and I think I’m going to have to try this for myself! It sounds amazing, especially with the blue cheese. Thanks for sharing this with Summer Salad Sundays, look forward to seeing you again soon!
I hope you will try it, Debbie.
